SPIRIT COVE - This movie was filmed in Shelbourne, NS, Caraquet and Miramichi, NB during the summer and fall of 2008. Editing was completed in 2009 and this Historical Fiction set in 1758 has been delivered to a major broadcaster for their consideration.
BEAUBEAR'S ISLAND - This twenty-two minute documentary was completed in 2009 and has also been delivered to a major network. It revolves around the life on Bearbear's Island from the mid 1700's to present day. We hope to hear more about it in the near future.
OLE OLE - The music video Ole Ole, by the French Acadian band Entoucas, was produced by Canada (East) Films Inc during the fall of 2009. It premiered in January 2010.
NEW PROJECTS:
We now have a few more projects in the works. I am negotiating a co-production with one film company for a Sci-Fi thriller and with another company for a Historical feature. The script for a feature length horror/thriller is being written now that is going to be sent to a major film company in the near future. PARAGATORS - On June 19th 2010, Stephen McKinnon of Canada (East) Films Inc signed a deal with REL-MAR McConnell Media Company to produce the paranormal series "Paragators". Rob McConnell will host this exciting new series as well as particiipate as lead writer and executive producer.
